Anime fans are facing a short break from juggernaut series One Piece, but can rest assured that it will return before the end of the month.

The pirate series, based on Eiichiro Oda's iconic manga of the same name, has dominated the airwaves since it first debuted in 1999, and more than two decades on, it shows no sign of throwing down its anchor.

The next episode in the Wano Country arc looks set to depict an epic battle against the villainous Big Mom, with the gang hoping to prevent an alliance between her and the formidable Kaidou of the Beasts.

However, fans will have to be patient, as the show is going on hiatus for about two weeks.

The enduring appeal of One Piece has made it the next anime to be adapted for live-action. Netflix is handling the project, so hopefully the streamer has learned lessons from its botched Cowboy Bebop remake.

For now, we're sticking with the original – read on for everything you need to know about the release schedule of One Piece season 20.

When is One Piece episode 1,066 released?

Episode 1,066, titled The Top Billing is Coming! Deadly Attack of Shockwave and Magnetism, will drop on Crunchyroll on Sunday 25th June 2023.

The episode is likely to see a shift away from the recent focus on Kaido, as attention is turned to Law and Captain Kid's battle against Big Mom.

Recent episodes have been delayed because of a special episode which aired on Sunday 14th May and recapped Zoro and King's battle so far. The season has now returned to airing weekly on Sundays.
